isqlplus and sqlplusw (gui sqlplus windows) will be desupported in 2010. Read Note 359855.1 and Note 359859.1 on Metalink.
Oracle recommends migrating to Raptor (SQLDeveloper) or to Application Express (HTMLDB) or command line sqlplus.
Oracle Support apparently does not know that Raptor changed name before going to production, well, names change so often, it is difficult to know them all!
Hi Laurent,
you are right.
I informed the author of the notes about the change in the name.
Thanks,
Didier.

Yes, although the Metalink note also states:
Note that not all SQL*Plus commands are supported in Oracle Application Express and Oracle Raptor.
Still I guess they’re given themselves enough time to sort this all out.
So has command line SQL*Plus been desupprted already or will that continue.
Wow Didier, that was fast!
Thanks for the update
Laurent
Command line SQL *Plus is safe and sound and will not be going away.

I would hope they wouldn’t call the product Raptor!
so i guess this means bye-bye to isqlplus in oracle 11g? Is der any other way it can b incorporated while working wiv 11g
I suppose the Oracle strategy is to make you use Oracle APEX, which has a very cool SQL worksheet in it…
