the only thing that was missing and required was public domain korn shell, pdksh, which is easy to find by googling
does the 10g release 2 database run on suse 10? on my suse 10 the oracle installer say’s that it will not install on suse 10. only suse 9.
ah i found it.
-ignoreSysPrereqs as parameter for runInstaller
darn, just deleted the installer, thinking it was not possible.
Thanks for the info 🙂
If release 3 does not have all these components then how do I run my Forms & Reports Services against this version of Ora10g iAS.
good point, you cannot
Did you also try to install AS 10g R2 on SLES10. I have read it is not certified by Oracle.
You seems to be right with your Certification Comment. Use SLES9 then !
I cannot find an rpm for suse linux enterprise server 10 sp1. The opensuse builds fail on attempts to install with YaST.
I have Oracle 11gR1 and would like to install Oracle Application Server, but I see that there is not a version 11g yet.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
