Laurent - Have you any idea why you are considered dangerous to the Chinese government? Maybe your skill at chinese chess is a threat. ;))
Laurent,
Is your site breaking any law in China?
We all know how strict they are about copyrights!!
Laurent,
It’s my pleasure to do something for you, to spread more oracle tech articles into china.
Don,
I don’t think any of laurent’s article breaking any law in China, don’t ask why I’m blocking in china, there’s no reason. Flickr was blocked, Technorati was blocked, blogspot was blocked, feedburner was blocked … sick of it.
With the technical information that Laurent provides, I would think that reading of his articles would be ENCOURAGED in China. Baffling.
Dear Laurent Schneider:
Please tell me why you think your site is blocked. How can you confirm your saying. When you have chance to China, you will know, China is the only country that is really full of freedom. 100% freedom is not a good thing. Copywrite must be protected, young guys must be protected from the web sites as possible.
My sister’s children , they don’t like studying, just browser the web. My sister has not time to educate them. This is why I like China goverment to take some ways to control the web.
I like your articles, and am glad to have chance to meet with you, and guide you to China. If you don’t like my writing about China is the only country full of freedom, please take some time to visit China, and I am glad to lead to any places like Beijing , Shanghai.
I like discussion with you, Oracle or China concerning
Hi LikeReading,
Thanks for your comments, yes I would be glad to visit China one day.
If you can read my blog, this is good news, it may depends on your Internet provider, I do not know.
I feel moved about your comments about the Chinese government taking care of your sister’s children, still, censorship is more a political as educational measure I believe.
Well, if you are a frequent reader of my blog you have probably read that I am a fellow Xiangqi player and would love to get an invitation to a Chinese tournament in your country
Cheers,
Laurent
